Oracle E-Business Suite: Software Factory Development Process
by: Sandro Marques
The Software Factory concept is based on a production line for systems from user requirements to software delivered. This production should be done without any direct communication between developers (production line workers) and users, system analysts and designers (customer side), based upon a scope, schedule, costs and quality standards.
A software development process is a fundamental piece to a software factory success, it considers all software development cycle and help project activities and resources management (plan and control).
Software Factory for Oracle E-Business Suite Projects uses a software development process based on AIM Advantage (Application Implementation Method). AIM Advantage is a proven, comprehensive method and toolkit to successfully guide implementation of an Oracle Applications solution. Talking about Oracle Applications extensions only, AIM offers templates and tools for all extensions development cycle, considering problem definitions phase, business requirements analysis, system analysis, design, build, test and transition to production environment. The activities executed can be categorized as follow:

• Business Requirements Mapping: based on specific business requirements and Oracle Applications functionalities gaps, customizations (extensions) will be planned and developed;
• Module Design and Build: activities to estimate, plan, design, build, test and document custom program modules (forms, reports, database, etc);

To explain how a company makes money would you use profitability ratios? Cash flows? Something else?
From an accounting perspective…
Anyone can create a free ClickBank affiliate account. there are over forty-thousand products there to promote. What, then, separates the $50 a month affiliate marketer for ClickBank products from the $10,000-a-month super-affiliate? The answer is simple and will will explore how you can use that secret to cash in on making some ClickBank profits yourself.
It’s really no secret, but I’ll state it anyway: The biggest factor in ClickBank earnings for affiliates is the size of your subscriber list you have to market to. Now sure, you can easily make some affiliate earnings by setting up pre-sell or review pages for ClickBank products and using solid SEO tactics to get them ranked in the search engines. If you are good at this yo will make some sales. But you will never come close to making a five figure a month income from doing this. What’s more, it’s a time consuming process.
The big ClickBank super-affiliates have subscriber lists numbering in the tens-of-thousands, many have lists of over 100,000 subscribers. When they send their emails out, they promote one affiliate product or another in each email. Even if the open rates are low, which is not uncommon, with huge subscriber lists to market to, they can pull down some hefty sales with each outgoing email. This is how the real money is made.
Now, there are some super-affiliates who excel at PPC marketing and they have the knowledge and savvy to run PPC campaigns to generate clicks to pre-sell pages they have set up. This can be a lethal tactic but it is a much more sophisticated process than it may appear at first blush. And–PPC advertising can be one of the very best ways for newbies to lose money out there.
The real secret, the, is no secret at all. It is a matter of growing a subscriber list you can market to in a particular niche. This begins with setting up an auto-responder account with a good service. I use aWeber which has served me well. The cost is only about $20 a month starting out (they will charge you more as your list size reaches different plateaus). Once you have an account set up you can create opt-in forms to collect names and emails and begin growing your list as visitors come to your pages.
You will need to give visitors to your pages a reason to opt in to your list. Many visitors will offer some kind of bonus report or video on their op-in form in exchange for visitors signing up for their list. Others will offer a five or seven part mini-course related to the niche.
You can use article marketing, Web 2.0 marketing, PPC marketing, or getting top listings in the SERPs to drive traffic to your pages. But even as important as making immediate affiliate sales on your pages is, it is equally important to grow your list by opting in traffic to your subscriber base. Once you get people on your list you can then market to them over and over again. That is one of the biggest keys to success in affiliate marketing.
